Collecting BarCamp

by lunaweb on November 25, 2009

It’s tempting to say that we’re closing the book on November’s BarCamp – but that’s not exactly how this works. If it’s closed, it’s only because we’re handing it to you to read.

Except even that isn’t quite true, because you can still add to the story:

If you have photos you’d like to share, we have a Flickr pool set up for you to contribute too.

Here are some of our photos we’d like to share:

There’s always the BarCamp Posterous blog. You can still email in photos, video, audio, and commentary.

At BarCamp, we streamed the presentations through UStream. We also recorded them; however, due to some technical issues, some sessions remain unavailable.

Many presenters, however, have been kind enough to send us links to embeddable online slideshows for their presentations as well.

Here’s where to find them:

If you don’t remember the room numbers, here’s a list of what happened in each room:
Room 106

  • Blogging 101
  • How to Destroy Your Online Business With Social Media
  • It’s a Small URL After All

Room 108

  • Intro to Ruby on Rails
  • So You Want to Create an iPhone App?
  • Designer v. Developer

Room 206

  • Google Wave: What It Is and What It’s For
  • Social Tools in the Enterprise
  • Simplify Your iPhone development

Room 208

  • E-mails That Convert
  • Bringing PPC In-House
  • The Changing Web Economy

We came, we saw, we BarCamped

by lunaweb on November 16, 2009

With the books starting to creak closed on BarCamp Memphis 2, we wanted to thank everyone who made Saturday’s event such a success, from presenters to attendees to (of course!) sponsors. We’ve got tons of media from the day to bring to you, pictures, video and audio, and you’ll be able to find it here soon. In the meantime, check out our Posterous site for some photos and short videos submitted by different BarCampers, and definitely give some love to our sponsors — the full list is below.
